Was sitting in the airport at Beijing, China a couple of weeks ago and had my i-pod tuned to the "Beartracks" album. I guess you could call it"comfort food" for the soul. Great concert at Chateaugay this past summer.

Hey Junior, I first started playing dobro about 20 something years ago and I'll never forget all your good advice and encouragement I got from you when we'd get together at the Waterloo Bluegrass jams in the Quebec townships. I still have that Liberty capo I got from you and I still play lots of dobro...a little everyday. 20 something years later, I work in the oilpatch, but my wife and have a neat little guitar shop in the Alberta foothills, and yeah, we have resonators! Lucky for me, I'm in charge of 'quality control' and have to play them lots. hehehehe...Anyhew, just thought I'd say hi, and thanks again for being such an awesome influence!

It was great to have you back at the rebuilt SHADY GROVE festival for 2011. I hope to be able to talk some others into getting the band back to Alberta sooner rather than later!!!!

As always, enjoyed your performance tonight at the Battle of Plattsburgh. Hope to see you in Cadyville tomorrow night, if I can still get a ticket.

Loved your sets at Pemi Valley. It is always such fun to listen to a band new to me, and be so excited by the sound and energy, and even moved to tears by the lyrics of Come With Me. Thank you. Hope to see you again next season.
